Official portrait of Prince George on 4th birthday captured by Getty Images Royal Photographer Chris Jackson
Kensington Palace today released an official portrait of Prince George, taken by Getty Images’ Royal Photographer Chris Jackson. The photograph, which is intended to mark His Royal Highness’s fourth birthday, was taken at Kensington Palace at the end of June.
Jackson follows in the footsteps of esteemed photographers Cecil Beaton, Patrick Litchfield, Lord Snowdon and Mario Testino to author an official portrait of the Royal Family.
Jackson commented on authoring the image, “I’m thrilled and honoured that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release this portrait to celebrate Prince George’s 4th Birthday. He is such a happy little boy and certainly injects some fun into a photoshoot!”
The image was distributed by the UK Press Association, a trusted partner of Getty Images and is available for licensing on gettyimages.com.
