Getty Images Royal Photographer Chris Jackson captures official portrait of Prince George on his first day of school
Kensington Palace today released the official photo of Prince George on his first day at school, taken by Getty Images’ Royal Photographer Chris Jackson. The photograph, which shows Prince George and his father Prince William at Kensington Palace, was taken shortly before they left for his first day at Thomas’s Battersea.
Jackson commented on authoring the image, “The first day of school is an exciting time for any child, including Prince George, and it was great to see him with a big smile on his face next to Dad, The Duke of Cambridge, ahead of their first school run!”
Chris Jackson was also chosen by Kensington Palace to author the official portrait of Prince George released on July 22 by the Palace to celebrate His Royal Highness’s fourth birthday.
The image was distributed by the UK Press Association, a trusted partner of Getty Images and is available for licensing on gettyimages.com.
