Getty Images’ latest API innovations and award-winning visual content take Microsoft user experiences to a new level

New York – 27 August, 2018: Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, today announced the renewal of their global licensing agreement with Microsoft, that enables Microsoft to use Getty Images’ rich content across its various products and services.

“Our industry leading API platform provides Microsoft with real-time access to Getty Images imagery and associated metadata to enhance their user experience,” said Jason Fischel, VP of Products and General Manager, Getty Images. “We are proud to be continuing this relationship and to integrate Getty Images’ tremendous breadth of content, our rich-set of metadata and industry leading search within key Microsoft products including Microsoft News experiences such as MSN, the Microsoft Edge browser, the Microsoft News mobile app, Xbox,, Bing and Cortana.”
