Getty Images Photojournalist Recognized at Sony World Photography Awards 2022
New York – April 12, 2022: The World Photography Organisation has awarded Getty Images Chief News Photographer Win McNamee with top honors for the Sony World Photography Awards 2022.
Win has been awarded third place in the Professional Documentary Projects category for his coverage documenting the January 6th attack of the U.S. Capitol.
The 2022 competition saw more than 340,000 images submitted by photographers from 211 territories worldwide, with over 156,000 entered into the Professional competition.
