Getty Images partners with Embed.ly and Storify, enabling easy access to its embed feature and inspiring storytellers to move the world with images – at no charge
Earlier this year, Getty Images opened up its comprehensive image library—the largest in the world—for easy sharing with the launch of an innovative embed tool.
Today, Getty Images announces a new partnership with Embed.ly. The collaboration provides tens of thousands of developers, online publishers and individual users with seamless access to millions of embeddable images directly within the Embed.ly ecosystem. From premium editorial content showcasing the latest news, sports, celebrity, music and fashion images, to conceptual creative imagery and historical archival content, this new partnership arms online storytellers with the very best visual content to engage their audiences – at no charge, when used for non-commercial purposes.
Users will also have access to Embed.ly analytics about their published content, helping them optimise their communications.
This news follows Getty Images’ recent partnership with Storify by LiveFyre, a social network service that enables the creation of stories or timelines using content sourced online and via social media. The partnership allows storytellers to source and embed Getty Images’ premium imagery via a new, dedicated source from within the Storify story editor.
