A portion of proceeds made will be donated to TIFF Share Her Journey campaign to support women in film
New York- 28 August 2019: Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, today announced a renewed partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival, that sees Getty Images as the official photographer for the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), one of the largest film festivals in the world.
As the official photographer of TIFF (September 5-15), Getty Images’ award-winning entertainment photographers will be delivering images from all the red carpets, press conferences, and parties at the festival. These images will be disseminated through gettyimages.com.
Additionally, as part of the long-standing partnership, Getty Images will donate a portion of the proceeds generated from pre-selected red carpet premieres to Share Her Journey as well as cover their events and panels at the festival. Share Her Journey is TIFF’s five-year fundraising campaign dedicated to championing women in in front of and behind the camera. The organization is growing its global momentum with a lengthy list of ambassadors, including Priyanka Chopra, Amma Asante, Molly McGlynn, Jill Soloway, Jennifer Podemski and Joyce Wong.
